“Originally I bought this for my Korg Wavedrum to get a better silent tone for the microphones to pick up. Worked great and had a much better “Silent” tone than any other mesh head I’ve tried. Sadly the foam interferes with the secondary sensor in the Wavedrum & takes away the pressure sensor of the drum. So I swapped over using then on my other electronic drums (alesis & efnote) and since I only use electronic drums with acoustic cymbals the microphone bleed of the DB Ones has a much better tonal bleed into the microphone than the unmusical “Tonk” of regular mesh drum heads.
Love these heads and will be replacing all my electronic drum heads over right away !!”
