Chicken a little over 2 months old. Everything is going well. I find that easter eggers eat alot and are very curious.. my chick is white with black at the neck. Growing big and healthy. Biggest and faster growing of the 4 different chicks I got.

I ordered six female Easter Eggers… They are so cute! But sadly only five lived. One passed away the other day.

Love my Easter Egger! She is 4 weeks old now and so friendly and full of personality. She is always making eye contact with me and wanting to sit on my arm. I love her.

My 2 EE's arrived healthy and are thriving at 3 weeks. Out of 6 chicks, my 2 EEs are the most skittish.

Thank you, Kelli, for taking the time to review our little Easter Eggers! Easter Eggers are a great bird for backyard flocks as they are one of the most docile, gentle, curious, and outgoing breeds of chickens. They normally tolerate being held very well and often will seek out their keepers. Usually if a more docile and friendly breed begins to act a bit skittish, it could be the establishment of the "pecking order" is taking effect and perhaps a more dominant bird in the flock is establishing their position. This can happen especially with a mixed flock where a breed, with let's say a stronger disposition, may bully the others. Keep an eye on the flock to determine if there is any excessive pecking taking place and perhaps separate any offending bird for a day to shake it up a bit and perhaps create a bit more harmony for the more submissive Easter Egger. We hope this help and please always feel free to reach out to My Pet Chicken as we are here to help!
