Ducklings: Buff Female Reviews

5 Rating 86 Reviews
Our baby buffs came in today. I was worried the entire time seeing as they're from the west coast, but they all arrived safe and sound! Thank you so so much! Now it's my job to see that they make it to adulthood. It's so calming to be around them. They are a bit skittish, but that's to be expected after such a long trip and I hope to worm my way into their little fluffy hearts with treats as they get older. I do have some questions on care though. Mostly if it's okay if they chirp a bit? Or if every time they chirp it means they need something? Also what is the best way to dry them after they venture into the water container? We are using Mazuri Waterfowl Starter and I was wondering if they'd need chick grit in order to grind up the food, even if it is soaked before-hand? As they seem to be spitting up a bit of clear vomit. Thank you so much for our new babies though! They are precious.

My buff duckling named Starburst is a little dramatic but still a great addition to our flock! She is sweet and healthy!

I love our buffs! When our female arrived she was a little ball of yellow fluff! She is now a tannish gray color. She is the loudest in our group and loves the water the most. She is the leader of the females. I hope she will be a good later.

Received both buff and Cayuga ducklings. The chicks were in excellent health and have now grown into beautiful adults.
