We have to agree the Barred Plymouth Rocks are great as one of the most popular breeds for any backyard flock! They tend to have great personalities and as you said, provide so many wonderful eggs to their flock keepers! And, the roosters - they are absolutely wonderful as they look after their girls but are known to be more calm and are pleasant fellas to be around!
