We ADORE our Buff Brahma June! She is our 3 year old's favorite! She is so sweet, let's anyone pick her up, is so beautiful and fluffy, we can't get enough of her! She lays beautiful light, light tan sometimes lightly speckled eggs. What's not to love??

I ordered my brahma chick as an extra to an order of d`uccle bantams hoping to save a little money with a mixed order. Now she's my favorite and I couldn't imagine not having her around. Named her Margo. Margo is a rock of good sense. Calm, friendly, docile. The duccles are ADORABLE, but they are still getting used to me. Margo has already accepted me as momma chicken, runs up to me when I`m cleaning the brooder, and will sometimes jump on my hand to be held. She will even perch on my hand and chill with me while I`m reading or writing. I tried this with the d`uccles, no such luck. I still love the duccles. I know they will warm up to me eventually, but I'm glad to have Margo to cuddle with in the meantime.

Had her for almost a year now. She is snuggly and loving, the absolute perfect hen.

Received my chicks from Ohio to Eastern Oregon in two days in mid-February, 18 healthy happy chicks all doing well. Would use these folks again.

I got 2 buffs and 2 light Brahmas last June. They arrived healthy and happy. Being my first chickens i was nervous and had alot to learn. But they have been so much fun. They are real characters. We got our first egg on New Years Day and have collected an average of 3 a day pretty much since then. They have survived a very cold and wet winter so far and in arather small coop. But we have decided to get a bigger coop and will be adding to the flock this summer.

My Brahma bantam turned out to be a cockerel, and my flock is a bit boy-heavy right now. (guess I'll need to get more hens...) He's easily one of my favorites though, very friendly bird and gorgeous, too. Rich, almost metallic color, more graceful than my Cochins, and fast! He's extremely accurate when bug hunting, and will, on occasion, while cruising around the yard, pull a worm out of the ground and drop it at my feet. I had no idea that a chicken would offer ME treats...LOL If I go out to the coop after dark, he'll sit on my lap and go to sleep, but during the day he has too many very important chicken things to do for cuddles. If you're looking for a fun pet bird that has an independent streak (think similar to a cat), I think Brahma Bantams would be a good choice.

Independent and strong bird. Good leader. Top of the pack. Good forager. Lays a little less than some of our faves but otherwise she's a 5. My son HAD TO have "yellow" birds so we have one of every buff. Extremely round eggs on our layer with slightly speckled bottoms. Good bird. Feet feathers are cute but do get decently dirty. (Worse on our light brahma). LOVES to dirt bathe right up against the house every day.
