“Our Easter egger pullet looked nothing like the pictures on this website. It has a different type of comb, completely white, and no beard. When I questioned this, I was told that the pullets come from a different line than what is represented in the pictures. My daughter was very disappointed because she loves the bearded look and felt like she didn’t get what she ordered, especially considering how expensive it was.”

Since Easter Eggers are a hybrid variety (not a breed), even if you have a whole flock of them, they can all look different, and they come in so many different colors! “I have purchased many chickens online but this was my first order ring from MyPetChicken and the Easter egger that was sent to me had a completely bald back with some signs of regrowth, her wing was positioned up over her back and she had a broken toe. The feather loss and the wing had to have been there before shipment, the broken toe I’ll never know but could’ve have occurred during the shipment process. This bird looked like it was plucked from the bottom of a barrel and then shipped to me and she wasn’t exactly cheap. Eventually they refunded me but it took a lot of email messages back and forth.”
