“We love her so! She is delicate looking with a small kind face. She is also very cuddly. I have always wanted this breed so we are really happy we have her. She almost looks wise as she looks around and she seems to purr a bit like silkies when she is warm and content in our arms. What a beautiful bird!”

“My daughter told us about the great customer service at My Pet Chicken so we ordered 3 pullets (Cuckoo blue bar, Welsummer, and the ultra rare surprise me choice) to grow our flock. Our surprise pullet was the Ayam Cemani! All arrived in good condition, although the Ayam Cemani was about half the size of the other two and was getting trampled by them. It is thriving since having space to move around. We’ve had them two weeks now and loving them. I would recommend My Pet Chicken if you are considering adding chickens. We appreciate you letting us know your little one is doing well! The Ayam Cemani pullets typically will darken in coloring as they age - usually peaking between 1 and 3 years of age. “My ayam Cemani is beautiful. She flies and has creatively escaped from our run and garden (which now have roofs so she can no longer escape). She’s really more of a fun bird that my children love because of her personality more than she is an egg layer. She’s also very small compared to the rest of our flock. But she’s awesome and we love her.”
