“I got my Black Copper Marans , Iris , as a 6 week old pullet . She started laying a few weeks ago at 25weeks and she is an egg machine ! She is also very friendly and hops up on the coop fence at sunset and waits for me to pick her up from there to be held and petted for a few minutes before putting her to bed with the others .”
