“I've had Cuckoo for about a year now. At first I was not sure how dark her eggs were but they are a nice medium caramel and she keeps thinking about going broody but changing her mind. She's a lovely bird and very sweet. This breed would be a perfect addition to a Black Copper flock to create sexable offspring. I recommend this breed!”
“I received Dixie, our Golden Cuckoo Maran in March of 2023. She was a beautiful chick with lightly feathered feet and very docile. Because she was sent in an assortment, I had no idea what she was until she matured, but when she did it was obvious what breed she was. Dixie is very adventurous and gets along well with her flock. She is not a lap chicken by any means, but she will be the first to rush over for treats. She’s is a beautiful bird and looks just like the first picture. I wish I could add my own photo!”
