We live in a rural state often takes day old chicks 3 days or more to arrive (different company) - sometimes with very poor outcomes. This time we tried ordering 2 pullets, hoping the shipping times would be less stressful for older birds. Our pullets arrived in only 2 days (which was a surprise because tracking still showed 3 days when we got the call from the post office to come pick them up). Our 2 sweet girls arrived in great shape and quickly settled into their quarantine pen. It's been a week now and although they were skittish to begin with, they are quickly settling in. In just the past 2 days we've begun handling them and they are quickly adapting to being picked up and held with little fuss. Out of our 2 salmon faverolles, both have the 5 toes, look almost identical in color and one has a muff and the other doesn't, which thankfully makes them easy to tell apart. The muff is cute and makes the one look like she has chipmunk cheeks which is fun.

Peanut is not the smartest chicken we have ever had, but she’s sweet and will be a wonderful addition to our flock. She got through her adventure in the mail with a little damage (either her own stress or her box-mates), but healed quickly—a testament to how healthy she was going into the mail.

My Salmon Faverolle is beautiful and already has an amusing personality. I can’t wait to see her grow up.

I received this dramatic pullet in November. She is the largest of the 3pullets I got but she likes to try and dive under the other two. She is !Gorgeous! her feathers are orange with edges of whitish cream and super fluffy cream feathers on her cheeks. I can't wait to see her full grown!

We are so very sorry to hear about your poor Salmon Faverolles from your order earlier this year! You have our sincere sympathies! As with our baby chicks, our pullets are guaranteed for the first 48 hours after their arrival but we do not see a report from you. We will be in contact with you by separate communication as we want to make this right for you.
