“I'm using this to brood a large group of mixed age/breed waterfowl on an outdoor porch in 60 degree weather. This is doing a good job of keeping them all warm. I tilted it so the little day old mascovys can snuggle in the back and the older geese and pekins can sit along the front edge. I love the way the feet are done with a spring loaded clips instead of threaded like other brands. It feels well put together and should be easy to clean. They do seem to be weaning themselves off the heat quick by the way they are acting they should stop using it sometime next week once the cold frount moves through. The real test will be when I do bantams next month.”

“Amazing! I have been a hardcore user of heat lamps for many years. I finally decided to try a brooder plate and this one did not disappoint. Ordered over a weekend, it shipped Monday and arrived Wednesday. It was packed very well. Easy to attach and adjust the legs. Started heating up very quickly. Nice long cord. The 18x26 is huge! Received my shipment of chicks and immediately notice the difference using the brooder plate. One chick was so comfortable it was laid almost flat with its legs behind it. I thought the worst but no, that baby was sound asleep! Love it!”

“Assembly was quick and easy. The plate heated up quickly and stays even. We’ve had 13 chicks using it for a week now as their only heat source, and they’re doing well. On day 3, some of our chicks were already taller, so we have one side raised a little higher than the other. Adjusting the height take seconds, and can be done right where it sits as to not disturb the chicks. The 18x26 size would allow for far more chicks than we have. Great buy.”
