“Easy to set up and use. I have 2 and I set one up in my day old chicks and one with my mature hens. I will be able to eliminate the dreaded heat lamp bulb with these heaters and I appreciate it! I have mounted one to the wall and used one with the legs and both ways are easy to use.”
“At first when I needed 90 degree temperature for baby chicks, it just wasn't warm enough for them. As they grew feathers, works much better. For a while I used it in the "old chicken's" house and worked great on the higher setting and I hung it on the wall near their roost. Many chicken folks I have talked with have had chicken house fires--pretty serious and I feel this is worthwhile just from that standpoint.”
“This heater was perfect for our newly hatched chicks. It kept them warm enough and we didn't have to worry about fire risk. Planning to use it in our coop too in colder weather!”
“I wish it had something on the 4 corners to allow it to be a walk under brooder...using cans of soup (the chicks love snuggling up to the warm cans too)...also arrived with one stand up leg broken”
“It‚Äôs been Zero & below in Maine this winter, I sleep so much better knowing my hens aren‚Äôt freezing to death at night. I love that it‚Äôs thermostatically controlled and safe to be inside their coop.”
“It's a great heater, reasonably priced, easy to install, and best of all it keeps my flock safely from frostbite. I hung it up high where they roost and keep it on low. I highly recommend it.”
