“I absolutely hate to say it but I want to be honest. This bird is not cute or pretty at all. She is docile, large and fairly friendly, but not so smart. She will get stuck in the coop when everyone else runs out and she looks out at them so confused as to why they have all escaped but she has not. She has jumped on the coop and like a cat in a tree I had to go rescue her because I don't think she knows she has wings. It's actually kind of comical so I don't really mind. She makes me laugh. Her head is very light and she doesn't really look like the bird in the photos here. She almost looks mean. She's not. I wouldn't buy another but I love her. She makes us laugh. Hope she lays pretty eggs. Any day now!”
“1st let me say the staff is outstanding, super friendly, super knowledgeable, A+ for customer service.
However, with this order 1 chick arrived dead. While this is beyond their control, refunding the couple bucks paid for the chick is not enough....the big cost on buying chicks is the shipping.
Last time I bought some I received 2 roosters which completely disrupted the flock.
So while the people are great, the chickens are not.”
