Thank you so much for your wonderful review and cute photo! We’re thrilled to hear that Skylar is fitting in so perfectly and bringing so much joy—especially to your grandson! Green Queen Easter Egger bantams are such special little birds, and it sounds like she’s already living up to her sweet, fluffy reputation. We hope Skylar continues to be a cuddly favorite in your flock for years to come!
Thank you so much for your sweet review! We're so glad to hear that your Green Queen Easter Egger Bantam is calm and low key. It's wonderful to know she has such a gentle personality—it sounds like she brings a lot of joy to your home! She is a gorgeous girl!
“I am SO in love with my Green Queen bantam girl. Along with my Black Ameraucana and Green Queen (non-bantam), she just turned 12 weeks and is the most sweet, gentle, precious girl. I have a cochin bantam that I am hoping she will be pals with (the broody cochin raised the babies through 7 weeks!). She has started making the sweetest little honking sounds and is so amenable to being picked up and petted. Highly recommend this absolute adorable sweetheart!”
Aww, what a lovely photo and recommendation! Your Green Queen Bantam sounds like an absolute gem—and we’re melting over the honking sounds! It’s so heartwarming to hear how well she’s getting along and how gentle she is. Fingers crossed she and your Cochin become the best of buddies! Thank you so much for sharing and for giving her such a loving flock to grow up with.
“I ordered two Green Queen bantams as part of a larger order, sadly neither of them made it (the others are all doing great). One died within the first 48hrs, she had pasty butt and just failed to thrive. The second made it to day 4, long enough for me to have become very attached, but sadly we'd been dealing with pasty butt on this one too. I read the stress from shipping can play a part, she ended up getting a prolapse from pushing so hard and sadly I wasn't able to do enough to save her. She was such a sweetie and I've buried them both under a tree . I'm thinking about ordering again but scared to lose them, they were precious.”
Thank you so much for sharing your experience, Katelyn. We're truly sorry to hear about the loss of your sweet Green Queen bantams. It’s always heartbreaking to lose little ones, especially after you’ve formed such a bond. Pasty butt can be caused by stress and it can be a tricky challenge. We understand how stressful it must have been for you and we share in your disappointment.
Thank you for being a part of our community, and we wish you all the best with your remaining chicks!
