“I love this brooder! It delivers on all the promises.
The only thing I would change or suggest: it does buckle when a cat jumps on top of it. Mine have pretty much stopped doing so, I think because it feels unstable and they don't like it. They can't get inside it- my concern was they could topple it when the babies were little and maybe heaters would get tipped over. Perhaps some dowel-rod type support in the seams of each side would be beneficial. Overall though, excellent product and completely worth the money.”
“This brooder is really great. It is easy to clean, and it keeps my cat and dog from getting to the chicks. I have 7 nearly three weeks old chicks in it right now, and they have plenty of space. I really love that it is lightweight, and that when the chicks don‚Äôt need it anymore I can fold it up and store it away easily for any future chicks. :)”
“The pen was easy to put together and very sturdy. The all around wire mesh is keeping my ducks safe from foxes and rats. The canvas cover is worth the extra expense. It fit well and provides shade. The only drawback is the height. If it were even slightly taller, it would be easier for me to get in and clean.”
“Very convenient for our 11 chicks from day old to 5 weeks. Was easier for us than trying find the right box+tarp+ DIY hardware cloth cover. The were running out of space by the end there (our heat plate took up almost half the space).”
