Baby Chicks: Lavender Dream Easter Egger Female Reviews

4.6 Rating 30 Reviews
I purchased this baby girl and 4 other breeds 10 weeks ago. They all arrived healthy and energetic. She is a doll baby! She's very inquisitive, social, and friendly. I'm so happy to her in my flock. I recommend the Lavender Dream to anyone who wants to get easter eggers. Thank you for coming up with such a beautiful little chicken.

Thank you so much for sharing your review! We are thrilled to hear your little flock arrived strong and full of energy, and it is wonderful to know your Lavender Dream has already become such a charming part of your group. These birds do have a way of winning people over fast and it sounds like yours came ready to make a very sweet impact. We appreciate your kind recommendation and it makes our whole team smile to know she is everything you hoped for. Thank you for letting us be part of your flock and for giving her such a sweet home!

I purchased two of these in March of 2024, and they are aggressive and mean to all the other chickens. They also eat like gluttons. They are pretty but it doesn't matter how pretty you are when your are mean.

We’re so sorry to hear that your Lavender Easter Eggers have been more antisocial than the rest of your flock. Every bird has its own personality, but it’s always frustrating when a pair ends up being a bit too assertive with their coop-mates. Most of the time, Lavender Easter Eggers grow into friendly, easygoing birds, so we’re sorry to hear yours have been the exception. We completely understand how that behavior can overshadow their beauty — even though we agree, they are a very pretty variety!

What a beautiful chicken this is. She is literally light blue. None of the pics do the color justice and she has the sweetest face. Love.

Aren't they just the sweetest and most beautiful bird in your flock? We may be a bit biased but we just can't get enough of this gorgeous Lavender Dream! We are so happy that you are so happy!

For some reason there is no option to attach any photos to the review but so far I am loving my lavender dream. She is 2 weeks old and her pretty lavender feathers are starting to come in! She was initially the most shy of that order group but she has really come out of her shell. I have another 1 week old lavender as well and notice similarly she is also the shy one of her group so curious to see if she will warm up the same. Overall very happy with both of them! Not very original but their names are lavender and opal.

Katie, it’s delightful to hear you’re enjoying your Lavender Dream Easter Eggers! Those lavender feathers are sure to be stunning as they come in, and it sounds like your older chick is really starting to find her personality. Watching shy chicks like Lavender and Opal bloom is such a joy. We can’t wait to hear more about their journeys! We would love to see both of your girls! If you'd like to email us photos, we'd be happy to attach them to your review.

This is our biggest chicken in a mixed flock and she’s the sweetest! Very reliable layer of large greenish-blueish eggs. Does great in all seasons and doesn’t bully the smaller chickens.

Catherine, she is just gorgeous! Thank you for sharing the review and the photo. The Lavender Dream Easter Egger is just that, a real dream! With her beautiful lavender plumage and those cheeks, they are beyond charming and a delight to have in the family flock. We are so happy that you are enjoying your girl!

My Lavender Dream Easter Egger is very sweet and beautiful. The reason I'm giving 2 stars is because she doesn't look like the pictures on the website. She does not have the feathery cheeks and beard. She looks more like an Orpington. I'm not happy about that as I wanted her to look the way she was supposed to. She is 21 weeks now and I think she is a Lavender Orpington. Not an Easter egger.

We’re sorry to hear that your Lavender Dream Easter Egger did not meet your expectations. While we understand that her appearance may differ slightly from the website photos, variations can occur within the breed. Our breed experts have reviewed your photos and confirmed that she is indeed a Lavender Dream Easter Egger, with a smaller beard but the correct pea comb characteristic of the breed. We appreciate your business and regret any disappointment. If you have any further concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out—we’re happy to assist!

This is my second one of this breed from this breeder. I love how friendly and personable this breed is.

I ordered three but one died right away not sure what happened. I did get a refund but actually wanted another shipped.
