Ducklings: Mallard Female Reviews

4.8 Rating 51 Reviews
They got to the post office right when they said they would, everything for the pick up was seemless, the ducklings were healthy and alert. Extremely satisfied. This is our first try with duck brooding, and our two girls are thriving and very well tempered. Just starting to try to fly, and have been living outside foraging by the house during the day, and sleeping in a home made duck tractor for the last week; no issues. We could not be more in love with these ducks. They don't sit for you to pick them up, so you have to catch them if you need to handle them, but once you've got them they are very well behaved and love being handled. Even though mine are mallards, they enjoy perching on the palm of your hand or perched atop your shoulder. Im not kidding. They've done this since they were brand new, tiny little ducks, and are now just big, half grown ducks, doing the same. Very loving, very sociable, smart and curious. 10/10 would choose again as well as recommend.

Ordered 4 mallards. 4 arrived, but one died shortly after bringing them home. A refund was promptly given. Great customer service and quick delivery. Also very good at giving advice to raise the ducklings. Thank you!

The 2 baby ducks showed up healthy. They were exactly what I ordered. I asked for 2 male mallards and they are happy beautiful birds.

I ordered three, straight run mallard, day-old ducklings. They arrived at the post office Right on time and we’re in great packaging. You could hear their loud peeps and could tell they were very healthy! The support MyPetChicken provided via emails was perfectly timed and very helpful. The entire purchase experience was easy! The only reason I’m giving 4 and not 5 stars is because on mallards there is a toe-clipping procedure that should be performed on the right back toe to indicate not-wild born. This procedure wasn’t fully performed on one of our ducks and wasn’t noticed by us since we were first-time duck owners. By the time we did notice, the duck was too old to humanely remove the toe without a vets intervention. So, one of our ducks has a meaty, somewhat deformed toe that doesn’t seem to bother him. Otherwise, our experience was wonderful and we’ve got three gorgeous ducks!

Duckling arrived as ordered, on time, and in great shape. Duckling had no health issues and had been growing and thriving well. Customer service was awesome, friendly, and very helpful. I wish I remembered who I spoke to because she treated me like a long time friend on the phone! I would order from this company again in a heartbeat. Great experience.
