Baby Chicks: Mille Fleur d'Uccle Bantam Female Reviews

4.7 Rating 69 Reviews
This is the second MFD chick I got from MPC, and she is even sweeter than the first! (see below description Beautiful Flower.) Although the tiniest of my five mixed chicks, she is the friendliest and the tamest. From the beginning she has had no fear, and she will sit on my hand for the longest time, fly out of her brooder, and explore. She has the most adorable little cheek muffs, I can't stand the cuteness! She is more uniform colored than Flower who has lots of spangles; Nugget is kind of a soft fuzzy orange. Out of all my 14 chickens she seems to be the tamest. I am really loving this sweet breed of bird, and will always have MFDs in my flock! Thank you MPC for these wonderful little jewels... XO

Our Mille Fleur chick is now about 6 weeks old, and compared to our 7 other chicks of various breeds, she is the most friendly and calm of them all. Based on temperament, you also wouldn't be able to tell that she is our only bantam--she holds her own among the other girls quite well! She is a wonderful pet and seems quite healthy!

My MFD chick is 2.5 weeks old, and she is my favorite, most beautiful, sweetest little thing. I never had chickens before and I am in love. I named her Flower. She has beautifully colored orange and grey-brown plumage, is fearless, loves to perch on my shoulder, fly a little and explore. I had to order another one to come with the rest of my flock in July. I have fallen in love with this breed, they are wonderful!!!!
