“The chicks that survived are doing well, and appear to be hens. I had one die within 48hrs of arriving, and the other chicks I ordered (polish) had even higher death rates (and most appear to be roosters). Do not buy from here!”

“We are so disheartened to say we had a very bad expierence ordering our Porcelain d'Uccle Bantam chicks. They came with standard size chicks and 1 was not alive, and 2 were in terrible shape and passed within a few hours despite our best efforts. Customer service was some of the best I have received with a company but we are absolutely devestated about our chicks. I would highly recommend if you order these chicks that you place a seperate order from anything with standard sized chicks to give them the best chance to arrive in good shape. Something I hope this company considers advising others about for the sake of the chicks. Shortly after, 2 standard sized chicks from the same shipment died. All within 24 hours. I don't think we'll ever get chicks shipped again.”
We’re very sorry to hear about your experience and the loss of your chicks—this is never the outcome we hope for. We do regularly ship bantam and standard chicks together, and the vast majority of shipments arrive safely to their new homes. That said, we completely understand how upsetting this must have been when things didn’t go as expected.

“I ordered two porcelains and the tiniest has been the most friendly of my flock from day 1. I love my Sugar. Cheerio is a bit bigger, also friendly but not as much of a cuddler. Sugar would sit in my lap forever I think. She is also very smart and was first at everything in my flock. They are very good flyers and prefer to do that versus running back to their coop. They seem to sense that their coloring makes them conspicuous and are very watchful and stay close to the barn when out under supervision. They are in a safe run otherwise. I will always choose to have the little d'uccle in my flock. They make wonderful outside birds but do need safety. I think they would make a good inside pet chicken also due to their size. My favorite!”
