“It‚Äôs easy to push the poles into the ground, but the plastic tent pegs broke off easily and we had to buy our own plastic electric fencing posts to get the netting to stand up straight. The product really needs poles twice as close together. Also, any wet grass causes a ground fault so the fence doesn‚Äôt work at all, so you can‚Äôt count on it when it‚Äôs raining. But the biggest problem with the fence is how very hard it is to get in and out of it. I set up tree stumps on either side so I could climb over it. It needs some kind of built-in gate that‚Äôs predator-proof. My coop is inside the perimeter of the fence, so it‚Äôs very inconvenient getting in and out to care for my birds. I don‚Äôt think I‚Äôd buy this product again. It might work better in flat terrain, but you‚Äôd need to put roof shingles or something underneath it to keep the grass away from it.”
“Fence set up is easy, but energizer and electrical set up need someone with knowledge of electrical fencing hook-up. It took two people to drive the ground rod in and took a lot longer than 15 minutes to set up as the instructions stated. That is the reason I gave it a 4 star and not 5. Otherwise as far as how happy I am with it and how it's working, so far so good.”
