“The capes are doing their jobs for our crested Polish hens. Up until we put them on the aumericanas were picking at them relentlessly. The Polish are styling in their varying colors and although at first they were annoyed by them they within minutes settled down. The small runs small, so you'll probably want to order a size up, but customer service was excellent and took care of the exchange with no problem. The saddles attach via elastic straps around the wingpits and stay pretty secure, but sometimes we find one or two Polish streaking around the run! No biggie, we put the saddles back on and away they go!”
“I purchased these for my bantams and should have checked the sizing first. They were way to big, I purchased the small. They are well made. Will be returning the two that were not worn.”
“I ordered these chicken saddles in early December because I was having trouble with pecking in my coop. Protecting the poor girls who were being pecked was critical so I paid the extra cost for three day delivery. The chicken saddles arrived over three WEEKS later. In the meantime, I had to make chicken saddles myself (not great but did the job) and ordered additional chicken saddles from Etsy to protect the poor girls. The Etsy orders were placed a week-two weeks after these and were received before the MyPetChicken saddles. I requested a refund on the three day shipping cost but was refused. As noted above, good product but I will hesitate to order anything from MyPetChicken that requires extra effort on their part or to make any request from their customer service staff. Lots of good chicken 'stuff' out there from organizations that respond to their customers - I would recommend you consider Etsy if you need something like chicken saddles.”
“The small was too small and the medium was too big. I think the mediums were mismarked because they were double the size of the small. I was disappointed in my purchase.”
