“Update: They are now 7 weeks old and just the most adorable babies ever! Thanks so very much!
All six of my babies arrived seem to be healthy and happy! I appreciate y’all so very much!”
Thank you so much for sharing the adorable photo of this sweet little girl! Chicks are tiny but Bantam chicks are even smaller but they often make up for the size with their big personalities! We are delighted that you were able to get this sweet Silkie in your flock and we are here if you need anything in the future!
“My silkie baby Marshmallow, is such a sweet heart. She originally was the most timid as a chick, and didn’t care for handling at all. Recently as she got a little older, she had become one of my top friendliest chickens! She loves to be held, stays so calm in my arms, and makes the cutest little peeps. She’s very adventurous, always exploring and keeping up with her flock mates. She isn’t timid and afraid to hold her ground either. I love her so much and it’s fun to see their personalities develop. I’ve noticed if you hold and talk to them softly often, they learn it’s a safe place and often run to you for cuddles!”
Thank you so much for sharing this sweet update about Marshmallow! It’s amazing how much their personalities can blossom as they grow, and it sounds like she’s really come into her own. We love hearing how she’s gone from timid to one of your friendliest girls — that calm, cuddly Silkie charm is hard to beat!
Your gentle handling and soft talking clearly made a big difference, and it’s wonderful to hear she now runs to you for cuddles. Thank you for giving her such a loving home and for taking the time to share her story with us!
