“Ok so this jacket is just another insulated jacket that you wear when it’s cold right. Not exactly, connect it to a power bank and you can ramp up the temperature from a nice warm glow to what I imagine a roast feels like in an oven! Add a waterproof outer and you’ll be set for the worst weather this country can throw at you. Solid construction with an internal heating element that can go through a washing machine what’s not to love. It’s not cheap but the quality shines through and with a little care will last longer than I will. If you have heated car seats, it’s a bit like that but on your body rather than your backside. Scottish winters…..sorted!”
“Jacket arrived promptly as usual from New Forest in time for fishing trip to a dales still water. Straight forward charging of battery pack. Overnight frost and windy .
Wore jacket under outer layer fishing jacket and switched on lowest setting, just right background warmth whilst moving about fishing. Switched up to next setting whilst sitting for lunch ( outside ) back home mid afternoon with battery still working. Glad I bought one , got a bit of ribbing from my colleagues but I think they were all secretly jealous and interested.”
