“Purchased this cap, good tight fit ear pads fold up inside the cap which feels a little strange but like any new item I am pretty sure that after a couple of times wearing it I will get used to it”
“I work in the Peaks. Very often there is a bitingly cold north westerly. I have the grand nord coat (best coat i’ve owned for battling the most challenging winters) The baseball cap was a logical addition. Previously I used a lowepro in conjunction with the grand nord hood. The baseball cap perfectly compliments the coat. The peak is long and strong enough to shape. Perfect to keep rain off glasses and act as a decent sun shield. The draw paracord allows you to fit the cap to your head comfortably. You will need to readjust depending on whether you are using the ear and neck cover. When not using, they fold nicely into the cap. Using the ear and neck cover is easy. The interior of the cap is soft and warm. The ear and neck cover fits perfectly over or inside the collar of the coat. The coat hood fits over the cap easily and can be shaped with its draw cords to fit snug over the cap. To sum up, perfect companion to the grand nord coat. It does exactly what you want it to do. Even as a stand alone item, it’s a useful piece of kit to keep you head, ears and neck warm and dry plus the peak keeps a lot of rain off eyewear. New Forest clothing my default supplier. All boxes ticked for service, postage, packaging.”
“I bought the Grand Nord coat last year (also from New Forest Clothing and I can recommend it) so I thought the matching cap would be good to have. I was a little wary of the "one size fits all" approach, especially since one reviewer didn't appear to like the sizing method. The cap turned up at 1.30pm and I was wearing it out at 1.45pm in quite stiff breeze. I'm a Medium hat size (on one occasion even a Large), but I needed to decrease the full hat size quite considerably. It stayed on in the stiff breeze, but, if you have a small head and want to wear it in a howling gale I think you might end up chasing it more than you wear it.”
