“This is the first woman’s jacket of this type I have been able to find which fits comfortably.
The sizings for this type of country jacket are usually made for trim small waisted women.. and therefore pull on the back a little or are simply a bad fit. The ‘pattern blocks’ used across size 14/16/18 don’t seem to be consistent in the industry anymore, so I have had to buy two sizes up for comfort and plenty of room for big thick jumpers.
It is a lovely jacket, it isn’t lined but has plenty of pockets and I am assured waterproof for walking my dog.”
“Great jacket for spring and autumn, but I exchanged it for a Lady Chasse because it is not lined. If you like an unlined jacket the Gabby is a great design and fit is perfect. Versatile pockets and details like storm cuffs and the usual Deerhunter quality. I loved the fabric and the style and would have kept it had it been lined. However, I cannot comment on the Lady Gabby's performance outdoors. Very happy with Deerhunter as a brand. Excellent assistance from New Forest customer service, as always.”
