“Wonderful coat, well made, perfect length for dog walks in the wind and rain (I am 5 foot 5 and it comes to a little bit above my knees), and best of all it is actually fully waterproof, unlike some other raincoats I’ve bought that say they are but aren’t at all. The day I first wore it I was caught in a heavy thunderstorm with torrential rain for an hour and remained completely dry. Big deep pockets are perfect for all the doggie paraphernalia such as poo bags, treats, ball and thrower plus my mobile phone and keys etc. it is a very loose and roomy cut so I can wear an insulated padded mid-layer jacket underneath, and am warm and toasty in 6C rainy weather for several hours at a time without looking like the michelin man. I love the red colour too, it’s a rich vibrant but not garish red. I think with the quality of this coat, it will last me for many years. Am very happy with my purchase. I’ve already had many muddy paw prints on the coat, and the mud just wipes off.”
“Finally found a longer length waterproof shell jacket. I’m 5ft 7 and it sits 3” above knee. Great protection for those wet windy days walking the dog. Loads of pockets. Nice high neck and decent size of hood to keep rain and wind out. Can easily fit a hat under. The only miss for me on the hood is no wire. Fit true to size. I sized up to accommodate a down jacket underneath for winter. And the ‘Red’ is not bright more towards a wine colour. I would def buy again! And great service from New Forest Clothing.”
