“It's taken quite a while to find something that has the right shape, length, water and windproof, breathability, warmth, double ended zip and the right number of sensibly placed pockets. This is as close to perfect as possible - and although practicality is my top priority it is stylish as well. As a year round sea swimmer I find this far preferable to a dry robe [which just aren't warm enough for sitting on the beach post swim] and is perfect for any outdoor activity in bad weather - although don't layer up if you're really active or you may be too warm! I did an hour long site visit in freezing rain yesterday and was beautifully warm and dry.
My only reservations about it are: the hood which has nothing to tighten it round my face when its windy; the zip can be a little fiddly with cold fingers; it only has one reflective pocket strip. If I'm really nit picking I would have loved this in navy which Didriksons don't do in this style, but the dark green is lovely, and again, practical.
Whilst the price was way beyond what I'd anticipated paying for a coat [even with the generous saving at NFC] I have the feeling I'm going to be wearing it a lot and if its durability lives up to expectations it is definitely worth every penny for something this close to perfect.”
“Really pleased with my new coat. Very warm and critically also waterproof. The huge pockets are perfect for gloves keys poo bags etc and my coat ends where my boots start. I found it fitted well I'm an 8-10 5ft 4 and I bought a 10. I couldn't be happier with it. Also arrived really quickly. Winter dog walks now much improved :)”

I got a size 12 which is perfect with a thinnish fleece on underneath. I'm usually a size 12-14 on the bottom. If you want to wear lots of layers underneath and/or are big in the hips I'd say buy your equivalent size. Otherwise it's quite large-fitting as others have said.”
“Absolutely love this coat! Colour is great! The fit is perfect. I'm a 8/10 in size and bought the 34. It has a nice fit yet I can fit another layer of clothing if wanted. It has a drawstring in the back so it gives more of a fitted look if wanted. It has a perfect snug fit round the wrists and the neck, you won't need a scarf. The long length is exactly what I wanted, below the rim of my wellies. I haven't needed to wear a cardigan underneath, it feels warm and cozy. The zip can be a little tricky at times but my old Didrikson was the same and you just have to learn to be patient and you soon get to grips with it. It doesn't discern me at all. I highly recommend this coat! Best coat ever!”
