“I admit I bought this coat with a great deal of trepidation, as I've been disappointed with a number of on-line purchases recently. So, when I first noticed the excellent communication and tracking information being very informative, I began to realise that just maybe New Forest Clothing would prove to be a cut above the norm, and yes, they are. The Baleno Coat doesn't disappoint either, it's extremely well made with all the tiny finishing details that you don't even realise that you need, like the leg straps that prevent the coat opening when walking. I have two dogs and they couldn't care what the weather is like they have to have their afternoon constitutional. Well on this particular day it was absolutely chucking it down, but the Baleno Coat did everything it was described as being able to do. It was waterproof and did the very thing I really wanted it to do and that was not to allow the rain to just run off the coat and saturate my trousers. The fit of the coat is exactly as the New Forest Clothing Company state and as it is lightly lined, I decided to buy one size larger that I normally would so that I could also wear an insulated fleece which would be an added bonus in the cold. All in all, this coat is an excellent quality item, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it and the New Forest Clothing Company”
“Sadly had to send this back, sleeves came past my husband’s hands. This coat is designed for very tall people. Not a good fit for Mr. Average. A shame as I love my coat.”
“Well made, and a good fit. I am 6'2" and the large covers down to mid calf. The coat has an excellent hood, good pockets for the hand warming. Very happy and worth the price.”
“Slightly on the small size so luckily i went a size up. Extremely well constructed coat and i can't wait to test it in the rain. Length is brilliant as it will cover past my wellingtons to keep everything dry. Plenty of movement when opening the rear flap. I love it ❤️”
“Looks and feels great. A lot warmer than I thought it would be.
4 stars rather than 5 only because I found the breathability to be less effective than I was expecting. It was a muggy day to be fair but my shirt (no jumper required) was soaked from perspiration by way more than I was expecting. I was only strolling along level pavements in town, not exerting myself in any way.
A coat for colder days I presume.
