“When it arrived, bagged, there was an unpleasant smell and I was going to return it but decided to leave it hanging to air for a couple of days and the smell went away - I think it must have been due to the waterproofing and the coat being stored in its plastic bag. Since then, I've worn it almost every day and I really like it. It isn't padded but does have a weight about it; perfect for spring days and I can wear a jumper with it if I need extra warmth. The fit is good; I'm tall so worried where the pockets would sit, the length, the natural waist, etc - I'm 179cm and the coat fits me well, though if I had been a couple of inches shorter it would be a perfect fit. I've worn it in rain and in wind and so far so good, I've been kept warm and dry. The quality is excellent and it looks a lot smarter than my kagoule. I opted for the blue and the colour is really nice. I would recommend.”

“I bought the terracotta in size 10, but am usually a size 12. It is more snug on my hips than I would like but perfect everywhere else. The coat feels very well made with lovely lining and trim, and feels very soft - not like a typical waterproof. I wore it in heavy rain for the first time yesterday and the rain just ran straight off the coat. The hood is big but adjustable and worked well. i am 5’2” and the coat ends at my knee. I am really happy with this purchase.”
