“I find them to be very comfortable trousers for long walks. I am of a more muscular build, and the freedom that they give is adequate for my 10 mile countryside walks.
Not too tight when I need to sit down, but that is only due to having a more muscular build.
I would say nice for spring and summer, and not too bad for winter also, if accompanied with some thermal long johns.
It would be nice to see them in a charcoal, or a dark grey colour too. I have Moss, Stone and Light Grey myself. Most happy with them.
The quality is nice, and the deep front pockets are easy to get things in and out of also.
Size 50 on a 48 inch waist is just right for me, and also gives room to tuck in jumpers if need be.
