“I recently bought this jacket after initially looking to replace my 10 year old Barbour Bedale only to find when I ordered a new one that quality standards and sizings had been dramatically changed. After a few attempts at sizings I found that the sleeves were still way too short even after going through 2 more sizes higher than my perfectly fitted original. Fed up, I looked for alternatives.
This jacket is great quality so far, and impressed at the fit (large for 6ft 80kg 42inch chest.) I can't comment on durability as I haven't had it long enough, but the initial impressions look good.
Lined pockets will be great for game and cartridge carrying and the fleece lined hand warmers seem to be in the perfect position. Hood is wired so will hold up in strong winds and rain.”
