“This is my first purchase from NewForest clothing. I took a chance on these belts based on others' positive reviews, and happy to say I'm glad I did.
They seem/feel much better quality than their price point would suggest. Good thickness leather which is very supple and well stitched.
I bought one of each colour: Brown, Black, and Tan; and if they did other colours (eg. blue, khaki, olive - Hint, Hint !) I'd certainly be buying more. I generally wear cargo type trousers & shorts and these suit that style just fine.
The following are just my observations and by no means intended as criticisms:
The Tan is a lot redder than I was expecting (more of a brick red), but it 'goes' just fine.
The buckles are a bit chunkier than expected, but again; it suits the style of the trousers I intended them for.
The extra keeper loop is surplus to my requirements as the tail is a perfect length and tucks into my front belt loops just right; but it's a nice touch nonetheless, and may be required at some point.
I know they're just belts, but when something is right it shows; and (for me) these belts are just that: Right.”
