“I was disappointed that the men’s Lighthouse Stockman is shorter than the ladies one.
My Wellingtons though as tall as they come were not overlapped hence wet trousers in rain. I am only 5’6” tall so it must be far worse for a taller person.
I had hoped for last night dog walks to not need leggings. May as well have stuck to my normal length coats.”
“Very speedy delivery. The workmanship looks excellent and a perfect fit. I’ll finally have cover below my knees. All other coats seem to stop just above my knees which means I’ll have my “full cover” at last.”
“I had been looking for a long raincoat for some time, something that would keep my legs dry on winter walks. Took the plunge with this Lighthouse Stockman, which is great value and I have not been disappointed. It seems to be good quality with a decent size hood, keeps out the rain, is wind proof and being just below knee length (I am 5ft 10ins) is also long enough to ensure dry legs. As some other reviewers have mentioned, the zip is a little temperamental, but there is a knack and it’s not too much of a problem once you know how. You can pay a lot more for similar coats and I have been very happy with this one. New Forest Clothing despatched quickly and I would certainly buy from them again.”
“Bought to replace my 10 year old same coat so confident that will last well and will be waterproof.
Only replacing as zip beginning to get very stiff and coat generally shabby.
Unfortunately the new one is about 30cms shorter than previous so is only just below knee (I am 5ft 8 tall) and does not reach top of wellington boots. This is disappointing as previous one was ankle length and ideal for dog walking in all weathers.”
“Stock person coat is great. Waterproof and warm. Good size for me - I am a 14 and size 14 coat is great fit for over warm hoodies . Very pleased with the quality.”
