“I wanted a do-it-all coat for dog walking and this fits the bill perfectly. I would usually choose a Large size, but followed the sizing guide and went Medium and it's a perfect fit, still room for a fleece underneath. Hip pockets are large, good for doggie's tug toy, poo bags etc. The inclusion of the detachable hood is a great bonus too.
My only slight criticism is that it gets a bit sweaty (not very breathable) when getting a move on and would give 4.5 stars if that was an option, but it can't be beaten for value for money and I love the fact it's made in Britain, so happy to give 5 stars on that basis.

“The first jacket I bought was a padded one which was quite bulky and restrictive, mainly due to the sleeves being 2 inches shorter than stated on the size guide.
I then bought an unpadded one which is much more comfortable to wear and with a thin jumper underneath just as warm and windproof as the padded version. (The sleeves are also the correct length).
The jacket is waterproof in showers/light rain (no wax jacket is completely waterproof in prolonged heavy rain).
I believe the unpadded jacket is a better option than the padded version (but always check the measurements are correct to the size guide)”
