“This jacket had been on my wish list for quite some time. When I finally ordered it, it arrived less than 3 days later. The package felt oddly light at first, and the jacket isn't quite as thick and heavy as it seems on the website, but it's actually a good thing! The sizing is spot on, it is roomy and warm, yet stylish, and the lightness allows you to wear any kind of sub-layer (wooly jumper, fleece gilet...) depending on the weather.
The color isn't quite as dark as shown on the website, but maybe this varies with every piece of tweed?
I have now been able to test it properly in cold and wet weather while clay shooting, and the jacket has kept me dry and warm all afternoon, while allowing me to shoot comfortably without having to take it off.
The fleece lined breast pockets are a nice touch.
It is an all round great piece of timeless garment, and I thoroughly recommend it, top value for money too!”
