“Just what I was after, a warm waterproof coat for autumn/winter. Size is pretty much perfect for me as I usually wear medium/large and went for the medium. The coat is certainly warm, with a nice lining. On first wearing the sleeves seemed a little snug but I am getting used to them. I have no use for the cartridge holders in the pockets and wish they were removable, but not a deal breaker. Have worn it in heavy rain and stayed dry and warm. All in all, very satisfied and good value for money.”
“This coat has exceeded all expectations. The quality of finish, the fabric, the detailing, the zipped interior security pockets. The material is rustle free and the arms and shoulders are articulated both of which are great for birding with binoculars. The removable hood is generous, adjustable and has a peak a major bonus. The padding makes it a warm coat so no additional bulky layering needed. The placket is really comfortable as it stops that trussed up like a turkey feeling particularly around the neck.
I have had a similar coat to this before but this one is heads and shoulders above it in all respects. For the price this really cannot be beaten.”
“Excellent value for a country waterproof jacket. Medium just right for me. 5’7in tall 40 chest and short arms. Lots of pockets and neat cartridge and bullet insert in front pockets. Substantial peaked detachable hood.
Hand warming pockets could be a bit deeper and although it has a draw string at the bottom it could do with one at the waist as it is a bit boxy.
