“This is a very well-made coat. I'm 6'4" and of average build with a 46" chest so I ordered XXL (48" chest) to allow for some room! However, I think my wife could have got inside with me; it was ridiculously huge on me! So, I returned it for XL which almost fits perfectly (an extra inch across my shoulders would have been useful, as it feels a little tight, especially when driving. However, with the underarm vents zipped open, it's fine. Good points: very well-made; good quality materials used; strong, sturdy zip; lots of pockets - the phone one is especially handy; nice zip off hood; warm; good arm length (being tall, sleeves are often too short, but not on this coat); good weight; nice embroidered NF logo inside; nice piping detail; great colours; high quality button fasteners; smells good; and my wife loves me in it! Bad points: none I have come across really. One suggestion would be to have a zip on the gun cartridge flaps inside the two large front pockets so they could be removed. No everyone who likes this coat will be a hunter after all. No big deal really. I can now carry about a dozen biros a side, or they may make great storage for a Polo addict. Other than that, delighted. Delivered via Tracked 48 hour service so received within 2 days. Free to return for the size swap, and smaller size again came back promptly via the 48 hour tracked. Impressive coat and service. This company deserves to do well and no doubt it does. Not seen anything quite so well made on the market, including top end brands at mote than double the price. Incidentally, I think this coat used to be made by a company called Sherwood. I saw someone wearing a similar coat by that name and that is how I discovered this one!”
“This is an excellent jacket, very warm and waterproof, with a well-cut hood. I ordered my normal large, in line with the sizing chart, but this was too tight under the armpits. Maybe due to the underarm ventilation zips. I exchanged it for an XL and it's ideal. Speed of despatch of both was quick and efficient.”

“Excellent field coat. One quibble: the cartridge holders. I'm not a shooter so I have no use for these. (Do even shooters use them?) They get in the way of my car key, house keys, Covid mask, spare change, etc. It would have been nice if they were detachable.”
“An excellent good quality coat, although designed for shooting I purchased it for dog walking. As yet I have not had a chance to test the weatherproofing but I can confirm it is warm and comfortable to wear. I initially ordered a large but had to return for a medium.
