After looking locally and online at a number of jackets, I saw the NewForest Clothing website, checked all of the measurements listed for the padded wax jacket and decided to order it. I was notified when the jacket was dispatched and it was delivered when expected, it was well packaged and exactly what my husband was looking for, a lot of the jackets we looked at were hip length but he wanted a slightly longer one and this is perfect. The jacket is good quality, the sizing was accurate and it is extremely good value for money.”

I paid for 1-2 day delivery on Sunday evening, got the dispatch email on Monday evening and the postman woke me up one Tuesday morning. The alternatives from my local high street were well over £100, so this is a bargain I reckon.The jacket is lovely to wear- not too heavy but definitely feels robust. Nice classic look and very comfortable. I heeded the warnings of other reviewers who said the jacket comes up large and voila, it come up large. The sleeves are on the shorter side and the waist is on the larger side but I suppose that's just part of the style of jacket. The hood's cool, too. Very happy overall.”
“Bought for my dad who is in his seventies when his trusted and very old Barbour jacket became just too old to wear... really didn’t think my dad would accept a substitute for Barbour but he loves it. It was a perfect fit, he loves the colour and the fact that it has all the same features as his Barbour jacket and I loved the fact that it cost a fraction of the cost. Well worth the money and one very happy dad!”
