“I purchased this jacket for hunting wild pigs during the colder months in Australia. We have some serious scrub over here and Im happy to say that the jacket has passed the tests with full marks at a price point that would reflect the functionality of the jacket. (there is no way i would take one of the expensive alternatives starting with B into the aussie bush)

The only advice i would give for potential buyers is that the arms run a little short for a taller bloke, but my arms are longer than most.”
“I have for years and years bought Dickies from wax jackets which usually last me about 2 years. They now do no longer seem to be about so I have had to look elsewhere. Prior to buying the new forest wax jacket I tried jackets from 2 other suppliers. Sadly neither jacket seemed to have the build quality and were returned. I am hopefull that the one from new forest will meet the mark. So far things look good. One addition to the design if practical would be a zipped chest pocket for the mobile phone but perhaps that is not possible. I will report in 2 years if the jacket met it’s expectations. But so far ok”
