“I bought the unpadded jacket which was great fit with plenty of room for jumper of fleece under it but I also wanted a padded jacket for days I nip out without a jumper. With price slashed to just £29.95 it was a no brainer to buy another this time in blue and padded. It comes again with a detachable hood, storm cuffs in the sleeves and generous zip toggles for easy fastening. Don't know the waterproof properties of the wax cotton yet but don't expect any issues there. I now have two jackets inc postage for less than the price of a less functional wax cotton jacket I nearly bought in Next which was made in China rather than the UK. Both will come in handy for my country walks and helping out at the nearby nature reserve clearing scrub. Greta buys.”
