“This jacket is pure quality. On arrival I checked the jacket, I could not believe what I saw. Made in ENGLAND, oh joy. The stitching is excellent, no loose thread ends, good roomy, deep outer pockets with press stud flaps. Hand warmer pockets are well placed. Good inside pocket. The length of the jacket is also ideal, I would say almost 3/4 length thus providing good protection from the elements. The padding is a good thickness giving warmth to the chest area. I have just returned from my first outing in the rain wearing it, rain, rain, rain but it kept me dry and warm. The detachable hood is a very good fit, there is a drawstring for the windy days, it does not come over the eyes and is not so large as to be a nuisance. Anyone looking for a quality outdoor weather proof jacket, but not wanting to bust the bank, give this jacket a try. Over many, many years of being outdoors, walking etc I have had various jackets but none as good as this, and at this price. I would thoroughly recommend this jacket. The service was excellent, delivered within two days of ordering. It was well packaged but not too much. Well done New Forest Clothing, and great to see MADE IN ENGLAND.”
