“Great bit of kit. I work in film and TV and not only did New forest sort out a very quick replacement larger item after the first 2XL was too small (I'm 6'5 and not small) but the product itself was tested to the extreme on a very wet and windy job in south Wales. The 5 weeks of rain were made a dayum sight easier due to the quality of this bad boy. Best waterproof I've owned yet.
Only thing I'd say is buy the size up, I'm usually an XL / 2XL but all the ridgeline clothing I buy, and I now have a lot, is 3XL. If you're a big chap like me then go bigger.”
“The majority of people I know in gundog class and the beaters on the shoot rave about this waterproof smock. I was hesitant about buying it because of the price but was assured it was worth it. So I bit the bullet and bought one. Last week in class I donned the coat and headed out into the field. The weather was atrocious, wind rain, sideways rain for 2 hours. After an hour I felt the water creeping through the garment. On the seams and through the drawstring. So, I’ve sent it back for a replacement. Hopefully the new one will serve its purpose.
On the other hand I placed the order through New Forest Clothing after the postal deadline and it arrived the next day.”
