“Firstly the positives the material is superb thinner that the torrent making it more versatile for year round use. Having said that the description of the jacket is wrong this is also the same on ridgelines own site, it states hem cord, adjustable velcro cuffs and a sleeve pocket unfortunately none of these are on the jacket. I really wanted to keep this jacket however with no way to cinch the hem or close down the loose cuffs heat just escapes and water easily enters the cuffs if you raise your arms to do something when raining. The sleeve pocket absence didn't bother me but it's just another highlight of the mistake.
I've returned the jacket and bought the torrent, newforest give fast delivery and an easy returns process and the jacket faults fall with the manufacturer so I remain a happy customer who will return. If ridgeline ever address the issues and make the jacket what it should be I'll probably buy it.”

The unisex sizing doesn't track as well as other ridgeline products: I normally buy a 2XL but had to move to 3XL to get the same fit. Really nice jacket though- would recommend”
