“I am not sure what more it adds. Perhaps makes for a more robust covering but I found the edges started to lift when exposed to water. I never really had a problem with Dexcom’s patch and the transparent over patch.”

I was hoping it would stay on for longer than 6 days. I sweat so much the edges start to come up and then the adhesive breaks down and it comes off by day 6.”
“These patches are so much better than the overpatches that come with Stelo. They definitely stay on longer for me. I also like the fact that the Stelo is fully covered, but that the section of the patch that goes directly over the Stelo has no adhesive on it. This makes removing and replacing the patch very easy.”

“Overall great product. I have used Skin Grips for years and the Air Patch goes one step further. Instead of just securing the edges - it covers the entire sensor, which secures the device better. I still have to use SkinTac adhesive to get them to stay on for the full 10 days. If I am working outside in 90+ degree heat for 4-6 hrs the patch would absolutely come off without the SkinTac adhesive wipes being used at time of application and re-applied when I load insulin every 3 days. So overall great product - but the weakest link in all products like this is the lack of a stronger adhesive that will hold up to getting wet as described above.”
