“Please bring back the "George" T-shirt! Best T-shirts ever. Been wearing them for years for everything: hiking, mountaineering, mountain biking, ski-touring, etc. Sadly, Odlo has discontinued this product. On the recommendation of Odlo staff (who responded to my query quickly and courteously), I ordered this product (F-dry T-shirt). Alas, it is no substitute for "George"! The construction is good but the material is too light. It feels like tissue paper, which isn't pleasant. It doesn't drape well, which is uncomfortable. It tends to "ride up" the back under a backpack or outer garments, which is annoying. And I doubt it will be warm enough to serve as a base layer for winter sports. Finally, the cut is too tight, especially across the chest and shoulders, which restricts mobility. The length is right, so trading up to a larger size would only trade one problem for another. Disappointed. In recent years there seems to be a trend towards "ever-lighter-and-tighter" garments among companies that make sportswear. Hopefully this will be only a passing fad, because "ever-lighter-and-tighter" is neither functional nor comfortable.”
“Ich trage die Odlo Produkte schon länger zu meiner großen Zufriedenheit. Sehr leicht, trocknet schnell und nimmt dafür, dass es eine Kunstfaser ist, erst sehr spät Gerüche an. Unterwegs leicht und schnell mall durchwaschbar. Außerdem: Sitz gut und sieht schick aus. Fühlt sich angenehm auf der Haut an.”
