The main difference I have experienced with this and much (much) cheaper Vitamin C serums is that it doesn't leave my skin feeling icky and slightly tingly in a way that I want to wash my face off right away, it also does not pill despite being a thicker consistency as other serums of similar consistency have, it just leaves the skin visibly more plump, smooth and glowing while working its magic on my scars and discoloration.
Scent and texture:
The scent is citrusy, but not very strong. The consistency/color is thick and white, sometimes it comes out a bit chinky (as you could see in the video) and sometimes it is smooth and a bit watery, so I have started to shake it a bit before use to mix in any possible product separation.
Ingredients:
When it comes to ingredients, there are a lot. Many of them are citrus ingredients and some essential oils, so if your skin is sensitive to those you may want to avoid this and look for a serum with fewer ingredients. My skin is acne-prone but despite all the citrus and essential oils it has not broken out from this serum.
Bottle/dropper:
The only minus for me is the pump/pipette, I always struggle to suck any serum into the pipette it's like some air is getting in at the top that doesn't allow suction to happen, for this price they really should ensure that their pipettes aren't so cheap and wobbly, other than that the glass bottle is very nice looking on my skincare tray and there are no other issues.
It is on the pricier side but everyone's beauty budget is different so I won't comment much on it, all I can say is that my skin has reacted to it better than to cheaper vitamin C serums.”
