“If you're the kind of guy that likes to keep a lot of parts for backup, this is the tool for you, since I got this tool I've already thrown away bunch a chains, really impressed with this tool it's not expensive either good at so good addition to my Park tool collection”

“Having relied for many years on my venerable CC-2 chain checker, a question about its accuracy arose when the LBS as part of other work replaced the chain at 0.5% wear on a friend's 7x3 drive bike, which I thought a bit unnecessary. I bought the CC-4.2 for comparison on that same chain and both indicated the identical 0.5% wear. Ease of both chain checkers was compared, and the consistent accuracy of both was verified.”
