“I am a HUGE Park Tool fan, but I must say this is the first tool I have purchased from them that felt cheap right out of the box. These calipers are made in China and are loose feeling on the rail. They will activate just by moving the meter without using the power button... There are much better options for the money on the market.”

“All previous products I bought from Park Tool have been excellent. Therefore I wanted to also buy the new DC-2 digital caliper. When it arrived, the box made a solid impression. The caliper itself however not so much. The screen has scratches right from the start. The screw for fixating the caliper is bent. And worst of all: It measures incorrectly. My measurements are always only half of the real measurement. I closed the caliper, zeroed it and measured a 50 cent piece, which is 2,38mm. The caliper reports 1,19mm. Inch measurements have the same issue. I have no idea how this can happen, but I‘m very disappointed by this and will probably not buy anything else that Park Tool gets from overseas. For other tools I‘ll stick with Park Tool, as quality is great and the YouTube instructions are awesome.”
