“The problem I have with the 2 Park Tool Tape Measures I have is, the metal clip at the beginning of the tape moves. That's not good. I need an accurate to the mm measurement. And because I constantly have to work overtime to keep the metal tab from slipping, it's a tedious pain. I know a lot of other tape measures are made like that, but none are good for what I need. Plus, I could actually use a tape that was just cm/mm and no inches. That would be nice. I will say it's well made like all Park Tools I have but it falls short with what would work for me.”

The tang (tip) of a tape measure is designed by move. This accounts for the thickness of the tip itself when measuring, The movement accounts for an internal measurement, as when pushing the tape, as well as external, when pulling the tape
