“I tested mine with a digital torque meter at 10, 20, 30 Nm. It was always accurate within +/- 0.5 Nm. I'm very pleased with that. Tip, you should always place your hand on the center of the grip. Applying pressure at the very end or closer to the head will decrease it's accuracy.”

“I bought some carbon wheels so decided that I'd have a go at building them myself. The Shimano brake rotors and cassette are secured using their Center lock system. My existing torque wrench didn't go up to the required 40Nm, so I purchased the FR-5GT Shimano locking tool and the TW-6.2 torque wrench which got the job done nicely. I particularly like the easy to read scale, which makes setting it much easier. I'm sure that some will say I could have got a cheaper one from Amazon, but I'm happy to pay for quality tools with a company that will back them up. I can also make use of this torque wrench for working on my motorcycle.”
